Like any acquired skill, language is about practice. I like to give my students the opportunity to develop confidence in speaking English and to hone their language skills in a relaxed learning environment which allows them to communicate comfortably in everyday settings. Language is about nuances and my teaching method focuses extensively on building vocabulary and improving pronunciation through discussion and exchange of views on a variety of topics related to culture, technology, economics and global issues. While the focus is primarily on spoken English, the methodology covers all four essential skills, i.e. speaking, listening, reading and writing. The course can be tailored to suit the learning needs and level of the student. Additionally, with a background in research, I can also assist university students and professionals with methods in business research and presentation skills. I look forward to working with motivated students who are keen to improve their command over the English language.
