In 2008, I had my first experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) during my practicum. This initial exposure provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in understanding the unique challenges faced by ESL learners and honing my instructional techniques to cater to their individual needs. Building on this foundation, in 2016, I took the step to become a private ESL tutor. This transition allowed me to tailor lesson plans specifically to each student's proficiency level and learning style, fostering a more personalised and effective learning environment. Over the years, I have continued to refine my skills through ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in ESL instruction. As a result, I have not only witnessed significant improvements in my students' language proficiency but also developed a passion for helping individuals achieve their language learning goals.
