I have successfully guided diverse student groups, ranging from novice to advanced learners, both in traditional classroom settings and through online platforms, to accomplish notable improvements in fluency and language acquisition. I have also taught a wide range of learners, from children and teenagers to adults and corporate professionals, in both General and Business English.

My teaching approach is characterized by activeness, where I encourage students to actively participate in the learning process rather than passively receive information. I usually achieve this by including interactive discussions, problem-solving activities, and collaborative projects. Colleagues, students, and parents often commend my stimulating and fun teaching style. Central to my teaching philosophy is tailoring materials in order to attend to the specific needs of learners, especially in Business English settings, where students bring high expectations to the classroom and often request specific linguistic aspects to be addressed and improved.

Throughout my career, I have used diverse curriculum books, including the latest editions of Empower and interchange for Adults, Compact for Teens, and Fun Skills for Starters, Movers, and Flyers. I have also extensively explored the resources available on a multitude of platfoms such as TED-ED, Kahoot, British council, and Wordwall to ignite students' interest, encourage teamwork, and ensure diversity of content.

My goal is to create a fun and supportive learning experience where each student feels secure and appropriately challenged. With my passion for teaching and my professional work experience in the classroom, I am confident that I can help you achieve your learning objectives.

Fee details

    Dirhams150250/hour (US$15.0525.08/hour)

Charges vary depending on the following:
    - Content: I usually charge slightly more for Business English compared to General English as Business English requires preparation and usage of external materials and multiple platforms, some of which I pay a monthly subscription to.
    - Writing Classes: I charge more for wrtiting classes as they are usually intensive and require additional work outside of the classroom for editing and commenting.
    - Place: Online classes cost less than in-person / face-to-face classes as the latter requires traveling from one place to another with an average of 30min to 1hour commute time.
    - Number of hours: The more hours per week, the lower the cost of the class as the charges can be overwhelming.
    - Long-term vs. short-term: Committed students and professionals with objectives in mind usually opt for a long-term plan that extends beyond 3 months. In this case, I charge less because it ensures stability of income as opposed to a short-term plan.
