What intrigued me to choose this field was the immense passion and empathy towards the hard of hearing population as I believe though hearing is the least prioritized in our society currently but that is the one which should not be neglected at all. My teaching pattern would basically initiate with simple rapport building and then setting the long term and short term goals according to the child’s needs. Assessment will be done prior to any management techniques to get to the perfect diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is completed, required treatment goals will be initiated and weekly follow ups will be conducted. I will also be focusing on appropriate amount of parent child interaction so as ensure a proper treatment guidelines at home settings as well.
