My name is Devika Bhowmik, ambitious and affectionate as a person I have mostly spent my childhood and adolescence period in the northern parts of India and later moved to Kolkata.
My major academic journey which further lead to my professional journey began when I first introduced to the field of psychology when I was in class XI. I developed a keen interest on how human minds think and what effects their behavior in different behavior. I pursued Applied Psychology for both graduation (Amity University) and post-graduation (Banaras Hindu University). During my academic journey, I not only gained valuable knowledge in my field but also cultivated essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. I also gained knowledge on psychometric testing while completing the Level 1 and 2 course from IIBP (Indian Institute of Business Psychology).
I have attended various seminars like, National Workshop on `Psycho-Oncology and CBT & REBT` at Banaras Hindu University (Feb’ 2018) as well as National Academy Of Psychology (NAOP)- ‘Towards building Inclusive Societies` at University of Delhi (Dec’2018)
Also, during covid period I achieved certification for Coping with the Stress of Coronavirus from Harvard Medical School. I have worked with institutions like VIMHANS.
