I use facilitator style of teaching where I teach, demonstrate, give examples, give questions/ problems, mark then discuss with them for clarity and deep seated understanding. This enhances a deep rooted and solid understanding on every important detail on the part of the students before moving on to the next level.
I still use groups to teach my student whereby I give them problems to discuss, mark the group answers and then discuss with them giving more details to enhance their deepened understanding.
I also help students individually based on their grasping pace and level of understanding enhancing their level of growth academically.
This has goes a long way to increasing the performance of my students.
