Dear Parents, You want someone just to oversee regular practice. I have a lot to offer in terms of conceptual understanding and confidence building, and I price my fee accordingly. I would not want you to not get the worth of the money you pay.You want immediate short term success. I believe in building strong foundations and short term goals like good score in the immediate next exam won't really be a top priority, as much as getting the student to bond with the subject and to take a genuine interest. Good scores just happen to follow eventually automatically.You want me to spoon-feed. My goal as a teacher is to assist, prepare and push the student to be able to think for themselves.
You want to join group classes. I teach only one student at a time. I believe each student is unique in their ways of learning, and they should be taught accordingly. Not everyone learns the same way. Hence not everyone should be taught the same way.
