My teaching philosophy is very simple. I use a hands on technique and I am approachable to my learners. I incorporate fun into my lessons when possible. While my easy going style is suitable for many subjects and grades, I am also able to adapt to the needs of my learners. I use three teaching styles in in my lessons that I call the three Ds: Directing, Discussing and Delegating. I have produced very good results over the years. I believe I am a great teacher because I have been told by my learners. A good teacher is one that can make a difference in a student's life, impacting everything from their classroom learning to their long term success. I am compassionate, have a positive attitude and I respect my learners as much as they respect me. I always try to create a conducive learning environment. I beleive that a teacher's main goal is to teach. There is nothing that makes me proud than hearing a new sense of cofidence from students. Then I know that I did indeed teach.
