As a teacher, my pedagogical approach is deeply centered around fun, creativity, and inclusive participation, fostering an environment where students feel empowered to actively engage in the learning process. Rather than adhering to a traditional top-down teaching style, I champion a collaborative learning environment that encourages dialogue, critical thinking, and mutual respect. I believe that the exchange of ideas through diverse forms of expression not only made learning more accessible but also more enjoyable and meaningful.
To bring this vision to life, I integrated Samavad—a dynamic, interactive approach to communication and understanding—along with storytelling infused with philosophies, creating rich, contextual narratives that resonated with students. I employs performing and display art forms such as movies, music, dance, games, photography, and paintings as tools to convey complex ideas, making abstract concepts more tangible and relatable. These creative methods allows students to connect emotionally and intellectually, deepening their understanding through both analytical and experiential learning.
Moreover, I recognise that learning is a continuous, dynamic process. Through this journey, I nurtured a fluid mindset, where I embraced the cycles of learning, unlearning, and relearning, continuously adapting to the evolving needs of my students. This reflective approach not only helped me grow as an educator but also allowed me to better support my students in navigating their own learning pathways. By fostering an environment where exploration, self-expression, and collaboration were prioritized, I sought to create a space where students were not only recipients of knowledge but active co-creators of their own learning experiences.
