Sahitya Rajagopal started her musical journey at the age of 9 in Mumbai. Her love for music and piano was nurtured by her first teacher Ms Elizebeth Louis. Later after moving to Delhi, she began training under Mr Ritesh Khokar. Under his training, she completed her Grade 8 from Trinity College London and ABRSM, UK. She has also had the opportunity to perform for international concert pianists like Raj Bhimani (USA), Raphael A Lustchevsky (Poland), Marialena Fernandes (University of Vienna), and Karl Lutchmayer (UK) in their master classes.
She has completed her Graduation in Indian Classical Music from the Faculty of Music, Delhi University.
Her relationship with music led her to explore the discipline of music therapy and she completed her Post Graduate Diploma from the Chennai School of Music Therapy.
Sahitya’s teaching style is holistic and includes a little bit of everything she has been open towards, she is flexible to each one’s uniqueness and enjoys the challenges each student brings to the table.
Music lessons are extremely open and are geared towards having one experience it in the most beautiful manner. With the flexibility of learning for pleasure, as a hobby to technically developing skills, Sahitya can modify her style of teaching as required.
