I prefer hands-on approach to learning, it helps if one can see or visual the concept. I help my students break down the problems into smaller more manageable parts. I find it easier if we can engage their cognitive abilities to improve development, both physical, mental and emotional. I believe in positive growth, both for the student and I, that means I'm willing to learn from them as well. For most of my students, they either gained book smart knowledge or life lessons that will help them be successful adults. I also take short courses to stay on track with new skills and information.
