Hi I'm kholeka Masango a new teacher graduated from UKZN. I use different methodology because I believe students are different. Teachers need to teach in a way that caters all students because students have different capabilities. Not only using different methodologies can make you a great teacher but also having sufficient learning resources. Learners need an adequate learning environment which stimulates them to learn.
I make sure that I'm happy and my teaching environment is engaging so that my learners can learn effectively. I believe that as a teacher I have to lead by example. My teaching style are both teacher and learner centred. I do offer lessons through questioning to see existing knowledge to learner. I also believe in group work because team work reveals different skill. If learners work in groups they're free to express themselves to their peers unlike in class. Also whole class discussion is a good teaching style because learners discuss their different perspectives.
Teaching is art they say so so as a teacher you also need your skills. I am a young innovative teacher who believes in art I do use my art skills to achieve my lesson objectives. My learners comes first meaning I prioritise my work.
