I am a new graduate teacher based in Gaborone. My teaching philosophy is that as a teacher I must put the needs of the students before mine. I appreciate that students are diverse and learn in different ways and I as a teacher advocate for inclusivity and I am therefore willing to adjust my teaching pedagogies to fit the need of the student at that particular time. I aim not only to teach students content but also be a guider and facilitator while also equipping them with necessary skills that could be useful to them in the society.
Education is not only content but what you learn from other people and the people around you. The reason I am a teacher is that students can not only learn curriculum content from me but I also serve as a home away from home, a home online that you can do your school work with and talk about your day, things that bother you and as your teacher I shall make sure that your grades as well as your being are in check
