I am Lonah, an experienced Mathematics high school teacher for the last 25 years. I believe that every student can achieve what they aim for if they have the right mindset and are given the necessary support. Therefore, with this in mind I have always managed to work with students in different environments and at various levels, and my joy, is when I see them making progress every day.
Currently, I teach 12- 18-year-olds in the International Baccalaureate (IB ) Middle Years Programme (MYP ) and Diploma(DP) programme.
For the MYP, I teach standard and Extended Mathematics and for the Diploma I teach Analysis and Approaches as well as Application and interpretation courses at both standard and Higher level.
Previously I taught the Kenyan 8-4-4 curriculum at Alliance Girls and also IGCSE at Aga Khan Academy, Kenya.
As your Mathematics tutor, you are assured of becoming a Mathematician, who not only solves Mathematical problems but one who can apply Mathematical concepts in real-life contexts.
