I am big on risk management, you cant trade if you keep blowing your account when you get in a bad trade, also a fan of mark douglas (trading psychology )
Technical and fundamental work hand in hand, i have found that people mess up in trading because they just jump straight to technical analysis rather than first understanding trading psychology, risk management, fundamental and then technical analysis, this in my opinion and from teaching for the past couple of years is the best and safest way to go in trading
