My journey as a Special Needs Teacher began during my postgraduate studies in Special Education. Throughout my career, I have developed a comprehensive skill set tailored to meet the unique needs of students with various disabilities, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, down syndrome, CP and learning disabilities.

In my previous role as SEN teacher and behavioural therapist I gained invaluable experience in creating individualized education plans (IEPs) and implementing evidence-based teaching strategies to address the specific needs of each student. I firmly believe in the importance of collaboration between educators, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to education and student development.

One of my proudest achievements was establishing a sensory-friendly classroom environment that significantly improved student engagement and behavioural outcomes. This experience not only highlighted my creativity and adaptability but also reinforced my dedication to providing inclusive and supportive learning environments.

I am particularly drawn to the opportunity because of its reputation for prioritizing inclusivity and student-centred learning. I am eager to leverage my skills and expertise to contribute to your school's mission of empowering students with diverse learning needs to reach their full potential.
