I am academically and professionally qualified to teach mathematics from high school to undergraduate level. I have gained extensive experience during my 40 years of teaching and I have developed an immense passion for my teaching. I keep fit and healthy through performing my duties to the best of my ability.
Using my experience, I am capable of developing unique teaching method that suits the individual need of the student. I like the discovery/participatory/discussion methods of teaching within a group of students where I can engage each and every student.
I can motivate students to overcome their challenges in mathematics using the bottom-top approach using simple problems solving to more complex problems.
I always give fair assessments to students which I marked and make constructive comments to motivate them.
By using some of the methods I mentioned above, my ultimate goal is to develop the student's critical power of thinking in real life problem solving.
In my teaching, I always draw the student's attention to details and to appreciate the importance of mathematics in life - how to critically analyse a problem, how to divide and conquer a problem, and how to make a justification before making a conclusion.

I have been a teaching mathematics for the past 40 years from secondary level to Masters' level. I have taught at secondary/high school level for 10 years where I also served as the Head of Mathematics for a period of six years. Then I moved to tertiary teaching where at one of the institutions, I worked as and a lecturer, senior lecturer and the Head of Mathematics. I have worked at four different universities so far - National University of Science & Technology and Bindura University of Science Education in Zimbabwe; University of Zululand and Sol Plaatje University in South Africa.

Going to the student's residence varies with the distance not exceeding 15km, fee R250 per hour for secondary/high school student.
