I am an ECFMG Certified Indian Medical Graduate. I cleared my Step1 in single attempt and my Step2CK with a score of 253 while simultaneously working as a junior resident.
My teaching approach is highly-individualized. I believe that test-taking is a project where multiple factors play a role. The three core areas that this exam focusses on is memorization, conceptual knowledge and time-management. I believe in starting with sparing a few minutes into understanding which out of the three is the main problem area for the student and strategizing the prep-plan accordingly. In addition to the theoretical strength, this exam also demands a great deal of mental preparation to be able to sit through it without reaching the stage of fatigue.
