• To able to carry out the detailed speech assessment by interview and direct observation
• Responsible for devising, monitoring appropriate treatment program of speech therapy in collaboration with colleagues.
• To provide the goal-oriented treatment program for the for all the various speech and language disorders including adult and paediatric population.
• Delivering group therapy weekly and one to one session on the daily basis
• To attend meeting on monthly or weekly with other professionals including psychologist, OT, and special educator.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the communication and swallowing abilities of patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, outlining specific goals and interventions.
• Provide direct therapy interventions to improve speech production, language skills, voice quality, fluency, and social communication abilities.
• Specialize in assessing and treating swallowing and feeding disorders, ensuring safe and efficient swallowing through appropriate techniques and modified diets.
• Select and train patients in the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices for individuals with severe communication impairments.
