Hello! My name is Tina, and I earned my Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance degree from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music.

As a student, I was a consistent Dean's Lister, which led me to receive the Rector's Academic Award and graduate as valedictorian, magna cum laude. I was part of the UST Guitar Ensemble, which enabled me to perform in concerts and festivals held at various halls. I was also part of the exclusive group, the UST Guitar Octet, when the team won 2nd place in an international classical guitar ensemble competition.

Now, as a teacher, I have utilized all these experiences to guide students to be musically brilliant. I have been teaching guitar for 6 years now, tailoring lessons to suit each student's needs. I started from a small home studio, which transitioned to an online setting in 2020. Throughout these years, I have taught students of different ages and levels from various countries. I have also conducted annual online recitals for my students to showcase their musical growth and share their love and passion for music and the guitar.

My goal is not only to help my students simply learn how to play the guitar but also to help them understand what they are playing or why they are playing the way they do, because I believe a full understanding of the instrument and the music results in more enjoyment. 😊
