Hi. My name is Jenya and I currently live in saint Petersburg. I've been teaching English for almost 10 years now.
I've taught students of different nationalities, ages and levels. I enjoy teaching because it's fun and interesting and it always feels rewarding to see the progress of your students. It's like I can make a difference, help my students, make the world a better place, at least easier to communicate.
If I could describe my classes I would say they are very personalised and communicate-ish. My lesson plan is usually based on a student's needs, be it general knowledge, English for traveling, business or just grammar. According to the needs I choose an appropriate language course and additional things like news articles, podcasts, books, games and songs.
Aside from teaching I like playings sports, boxing and snowboarding but the biggest love of my live is reading especially fantasy and sci-fy books. Thats why I always try to encourage my students to read themselves, provide them with simplified english books and later discuss them during our lessons, exchange thoughts and ideas.
