I am a tourism and hospitality lecturer/researcher, with over 13 years of cognate academic and industry experience. I have great interpersonal skills, and can communicate with diverse stakeholders in clear English Language, and major Nigerian languages (Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba & my indigenous dialect- Ebira), respectfully. I'm able to impart knowledge to learners through blended learning (asynchronously/asynchronously) mechanism. In addition, I am personable and I have a great time keeping skills. I'm honest and can be depended on, to complete given tasks individually, and as a member of a team, sharing knowledge and experiences, for collective organization's gains.
I hold a PhD degree which focuses on tourism crisis preparedness/management (Leeds, Uk), an Msc in International Tourism Management (Aberdeen, Scotland, Uk), and Bsc. Urban & Regional Planning (Nsukka, Enugu, Nigeria. I am happy to share my wealth of experience with interested learners and experienced persons from across the globe.

  • Senior Lecturer (May, 2011–Present) at National open university of Nigeria
    As a fulltime lecturer, my role include developing course materials and facilitating same to learners of Tourism Studies. This includes courses on Strategic Management in Hospitality and Tourism, Tourism Policy and Planning, Global Tourism Issues, etc. In addition, I supervise students' independent projects, invigilate examinations, and engage in several adhoc committee assignments.
