As a Lecturer of Quran Studies and Islamic Studies at Government Associate College, I am responsible for imparting comprehensive knowledge of Quranic teachings and Islamic studies to college-level students. My role involves delivering lectures, designing course materials, conducting assessments, and fostering a deep understanding of Islamic principles among students. I also engage in scholarly activities, mentoring, and contributing to the overall development of the academic program.
Teaching and Instruction:
Deliver lectures on Quranic studies, including Tajweed, translation, Tafseer, and Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh).
Teach various subjects in Islamic studies, covering topics such as Islamic history, ethics, and comparative religion.
Develop and implement lesson plans that are structured, engaging, and aligned with the academic goals of the college.
Utilize modern teaching methodologies and resources to enhance student learning and retention of Quranic and Islamic knowledge.
Student Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop and administer assessments, including exams, quizzes, and assignments, to evaluate students' understanding of the material.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, helping them improve their academic performance.
Identify students who require additional support and provide guidance to ensure their progress in Quranic and Islamic studies.
Key Experiences:
Effective Teaching: Over eight years of experience as a lecturer of Quraan and Islamic studies in various GOVT and Non GOVT institutions, I have successfully taught a wide range of subjects in Quranic studies and Islamic education. My teaching methods have been praised for their clarity, depth, and ability to engage students.
Student Mentorship: Served as a mentor to numerous students, guiding them academically and spiritually. Many of my students have gone on to pursue further studies in Islamic education or become active members of their communities.
