Dear Hiring Team,
I’m writing to you to apply for an EFL Instructor Position in your highly qualified Center.
My goal as an ESL Instructor is to prepare students to achieve their potentials, and
encourage them to have a positive attitude towards learning the English language. I’m
passionate about my Job as a Teacher, and I aspire to learn more during this journey. In view
of the above mentioned qualities, I’m positive that my skills set will transfer flawlessly.
As a young, experienced and a TEFL certified Teacher, I have great potential to fulfill the
need of my students and stimulate their interests in learning English. I’m a staunch believer
that my students should develop hard skills along with their soft ones to achieve great
outcomes. Therefore, I instruct my students to learn all the four skills (reading, listening,
writing and speaking) as well as the four Cs (communication, critical thinking, collaboration
and creativity). In addition, I clarify the Target Language in terms of the MFP (meaning,
form and pronunciation), and then check students’ understanding by CCQs (concept check
questions). Moreover, I self-generate and adapt materials that serve the need-based lesson
plan. Throughout the TEFL course, I have acquired the appropriate techniques to error
correction and feedback (what to correct, when to correct, who corrects and how to correct).
I taught students from different age categories which enabled me to manage a classroom with
different mentalities and learning styles. I also coordinate group projects related to the target
language in order to encourage students to use the language in and outside the class.
With all the previously mentioned skills, my academic background and excellent
communication skills, I believe that my profile meets the needs of the job, and will
certainly fulfill your school’s objectives.
