I have been referred to as an ‘outstanding practitioner’. All my lesson observations have been graded excellent.
I am very confident in my teaching. What’s very important to me above all is the professional relationship I build with the parents and the students whom I teach. From being a teacher for the past 5 years, I wholeheartedly believe a student will only learn from you if they have a positive relationship with you.
I have worked both in mainstream settings and special needs. I have been trained to use trauma informed practice as well as zones of regulation - which are tools to help students understand and manage their emotions.
I put the needs of my students above all, and strive to help them as much as I can.
I have worked with children with emotional needs, autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health needs, English as an additional language students, greater depth students. Working with all these students, I am able to differentiate my teaching.
