I usually prefer to give basics to a student about a topic and make sure to solve lots of questions before handling him/her an assignment and test understanding.
I also prefer to teach a student until they understand what really is the concept of a topic, because I believe it will help a student to master any questions regardless of any challenge on that specific question.
The only thing that makes me a great teacher is that, teaching comes direct from my heart, I am doing what I love, I don't mind many questions from my students because I believe a student who asks questions is the one who is learning on the first place and is the one who is ready to learn.
