I am currently a university student in New York City, and I've lived and studied abroad for the past 5 years in Vancouver and New York City. I am fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. I have experience teaching phonics and spoken English. I am able to teach in both American and British accents depending on which you prefer. My goal is to improve my students' fluency, which will allow them to maintain consistent improvement in English and start or continue to receive good grades in school. I will find out which area of English my students are the weakest in (whether that be reading, writing, speaking, or listening) and work on improving that in addition to what they bring to work on in class.
