I am a hands on kind of a teacher. My teacher methods involves games and treating the subject as a new adventure to be discovered. I like my learners to feel the joys of discovering the new meanings and ways of pronouncing new words. i teach with same joy and enthusiasm, was taught with when i first learned Chinese. I use home works, assignments to evaluate progression. In teaching preschoolers, i have found that repetition is key. with Chinese it is important to focus of tones and pronunciation are the keys to quick learning. On tutoring one on ones, i am if a believe that using games and songs as way of learning are the best teaching methods.So i have always used fun activities as part of my teaching method. For adults its an effort to engage them in something they with be interested in so i try and use movie clips and songs to teach
