My name is Lírio Nuvunga and I’m currently taking a degree, this is my third year of English-Portuguese translation at UEM and I’ve been working as an invigilator at the British Council for almost 9 months. With experience as an academic assistant for Elsa Samuel for one year and nearly two years of teaching English to Karina Novela and her sister, I’m deeply interested in English grammar, language variation, and improving academic writing. Moreover, I’ve been supporting some students with their research related to strategies for coping with depression in women aged 30-60 diagnosed with breast cancer, Machiavelli's political thought, attention in education/psychology, and sexual violence against minors.
