With 9 years of dedicated experience in mathematics education, I specialize in teaching Year 10 and 11 students, focusing on Further Maths and Additional Maths. My background in engineering provides me with a solid foundation to help students grasp complex mathematical concepts with ease. I am passionate about leveraging online platforms to create an engaging and interactive learning environment. My approach to teaching is centered around providing comprehensive notes and well-structured exercises, complete with examples, to ensure students fully understand the material can ace their exams.

My method of tutoring is as such:

Parents/students will let me know in advance what topics they would like to cover; and I would prepare the materials accordingly. A test will be given once-a-month/once every 2 weeks to track the students progress.

3 notebooks are required - one for answers, another for note taking, another for corrections. The notebook for answers will be marked. Depending on the timing, I might need to take the notebook back for marking.

I will frequently use mind maps, and students are encouraged to have a small notebook/cards for revision. For mathematics, a small notebook just for formulas alone is highly encouraged as students will be able to flip through before bedtime. Also, I am using Singapore syllabus for Maths, specifically CASCO.
