I am a passionate English teacher with a strong background in translation and interpreting skills. I have excellent communication and intercultural skills due to my additional responsibility to maintain a school partnership with an Australian school.
I use eclectic methods to teach my students based on student's learning styles and preferences. My students love my teaching approach which enables them to communicate with native speakers more fluently and accurately. Once, during a field study at Prambanan Temple, I accompanied a group of students to practice their English with foreign tourists. At first, they were afraid but after I gave them an example of describing Prambanan Temple to a group of tourists from the Netherlands, they became more motivated and did their job well until they wanted to stay longer in the temple to speak to tourists.
As a teacher, my major achievement was to qualify as a participant in the national teacher olympiad in Jakarta in 2019 representing the Special Region of Yogyakarta. I was also an awardee of Competitive Grant Support from The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australia in 2020. I took part in teacher exchange program to Australia then.

    I have been teaching English at SMPN 1 Karangmojo as a permanent teacher for eighth graders. My main duty is to prepare students for the written exam. I have an additional job to teach an after-school conversation class. I am also responsible for selecting and preparing students to join the English Story Telling competition.
    In my free time, I work freelance as a translator, interpreter, and private tutor.
    My current TOEFL score is 650 and my CEFR level is C1 (Advanced)
