Hola…I am a Spanish teacher with more than 20 years of total experience. I have held important positions in a reputed IB school since 2008. I have been the IBDP facilitator for Spanish ab initio and Spanish B, HOD of IB Language Acquisition department and also an IB examiner. Known to be a teacher par excellence, I have surpassed the World Average Grade every year, and most of my students have achieved Grade 7 (the highest IB grade) or grade 6 year on year. I have also compiled and authored course work books and instructional material for my students, which was very widely acknowledged, appreciated and has been in constant use. I have not only headed the school’s Examination Committee for several years, but also held the position of the IBDP Coordinator, and hence I have the requisite knowledge of the Diploma Program as a whole. I have attended and successfully completed various IB and other Teacher’s Training workshops conducted by the Pune University.
As a seasoned educator, not only do I have vast experience, and a truly multi - dimensional background, but also relevant qualifications in Spanish from the University of Pune (SPPU), and certifications of DELE. Having an ability of simplifying complex content as per individual needs, I can help my students to overcome challenges in language learning and give exam specific guidance. Apart from IB, in the past I have taught Spanish at multiple levels, to the Undergraduate and Post Graduate students at a reputed university, including language learners of various age groups.
