My experience as a science teacher in my school has given me a deep understanding that the learning and teaching process faces challenges due to drastic technological transformations happening in the world today. I have been trained and gained the necessary experience through my years of service, to cope with and manage these challenges. The world is migrating to smart offices, paperless offices, smart classrooms, faster data processing, and easy retrieval of information among other transformations. I am well-versed with the right information about the available technological advances like software and programs, virtual classrooms, distance learning, online tutoring, and artificial intelligence. This puts me abreast of how to choose the right ones for their learners’ needs.
As an efficient educational tutor, I am well-informed on the current educational demands of learners of different categories. Learning is continuous and as a tutor, I am prepared to meet learners at different stages from the very youngest to the elderly Gumbaru learners. In my current teaching job, I not only help students learn, but I learn also about the daily emerging trends in teaching and learning, through available online training by the Ministry of Education and other platforms.
My teaching methods are inclusive. Learners of all categories are able to learn from my physical and virtual lessons. Being a teacher does not mean that I am all-knowing. I also learn through interacting with different learners with specific needs. This is the pillar of my success in choosing the right teaching styles and instructional methods for subsequent lessons.
My lifetime vision is to become that one teacher with resourceful output, not only to my country but also to the entire world. Together, we can make the world a better place through science.

    As the Director of Studies, my roles are:
    Secretary to Heads of Department meetings.
    Implementation of the school's academic and curriculum programs.
    servicing the staff with the examination council's information.
    Ensuring the integrity of examinations and examination processes are upheld by all teachers and students- internal and external.
    To interview and guide students and parents on matters relating to Curriculum and Examinations.
    Preparation of internal examination timetable.
    To co-ordinate the organization and development of all assessment procedures and methods of recording pupils’ development attainment.
    Monitoring of curriculum implementation
    Regular audit of syllabus coverage in all subjects while putting in place programs to enhance timely coverage and proper content delivery.

    Keep all records on students’ academic progress and initiates programs aimed at value addition for all students.
