Hello, my name is Khushboo, and I work as a teaching assistant at Algoma University currently. I have a good foundation in mathematics and a strong enthusiasm for teaching. I specialize in teaching the abacus, that improves cognitive growth and mental arithmetic abilities.
My approach to teaching is participatory and student-centered, with a focus on fostering a welcoming and encouraging learning environment. I strongly think that practical experience and real-world applications can enhance learning and make it enjoyable. In order to support learning, I use visual aids and practical exercises to break down complicated topics into break down steps. I have enhanced the ability to communicate effectively and modify my teaching methods to fit the various requirements for students while working as a teaching assistant. Students' confidence in their mathematical skills has grown, and they have routinely demonstrated considerable improvements in computation speed and accuracy as a result of my method.
As a teacher, what makes me unique is my commitment to creating a supportive and happy environment. In order to ensure that my students are not only learning but also enjoying the process, I work hard to make each one feel capable and respected. My mission is to provide them with the tools they require to excel academically and beyond, as well as to cultivate a lifetime love of learning.
