Being long years in academic I hold a following perspective while teaching students are as follows:
1. Tutor first understand what student wants to learn and in what way.
2. Way of teaching must be simple and interesting.
3. Delivery of concepts/fundamentals should be through live surrounding examples so that student absorb and inculcate in mind like forever.
4. Multiple approach to solve a problem quickly.
5. Examples through videos make learning more interesting.
6. Q/A sessions for students to clear doubts.
7. Proper revision with regular tests to revive concepts.
8. Brain storming session after completion of each chapter it will develop thinking ability in students.

Experience

  • Senior Researcher (Sep, 2020Jun, 2023) at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland
    • Teaching at Trinity College Dublin in brief –
o I was taking courses of undergraduate and post graduate courses of Mechanical Engineering

    • Research at Trinity College Dublin in brief –
o The concept of hybridization is very well sound in renewable energy-based systems and performance can be increased multiple folds. At present my postdoctoral research at Trinity College Dublin is based on the numerical and experimental investigation to develop a novel hybrid Grease Trap (GT) device design that could save about 40% of the wastewater heat discharge from commercial kitchens. Furthermore, saving waste heat from the kitchen wastewater improves fat, oil, and grease removal efficiency of the GT which serves duo objective: 1. Energy saving, and 2. Improves grease removal efficiency. Saved waste heat would aid in preheating of freshwater from supply or meant for other heating applications. There could be many ideas which improve operational capability of the waste heat recovery systems such as effective waste heat utilization during temporal mismatch at times of variable hot wastewater availability.

o In addition to the above, a pilot heat recovery set up was installed to recover heat from café at Penrhyn Castle at Wales to assess practical heat recovery feasibility in commercial food-services outlet. Me as a researcher see the wastewater thermal management sector a very exciting and important research field to work-on to dig every possible aspect for a perfect and robust wastewater thermal management.

I am proficient and long term experience in drafting and publishing journal articles in highly reputed international journals.
  • Academic researcher (Jul, 2016Aug, 2020) at Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, IIT-BHU, India
I am proficient and have prior experience in conducting research as well as drafting and publishing research articles in peer reviewed journals, writing proposal for research projects, seeking project funding, maintaining positive stakeholder relationship, etc. In addition to my academic achievements, I took teaching assistantship classes and labs of thermal and fluid courses of undergraduate and postgraduate students during my Ph.D. and master’s degree in the department of Mechanical Engineering.
