Ir. Ts. Dr Mohd Ridzuan Mohd Jamir was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 26th March 1985. He received his early education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Jelapang (SKJ), Ipoh, Perak and his secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dr Megat Khas (SMKDMK), Ipoh Perak and Sekolah Menengah Teknik Leboh Cator (SMTLC), Ipoh Perak. He obtained his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Jalan Semarak Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2006. He graduated in Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and Master of Engineering (Mechanical) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai, Johor, Malaysia in the year of 2009 and 2010, respectively. After that, he worked as Quality Assurance Engineer in Venture Pintarmas Sdn Bhd in Tebrau Johor Baharu in 2010. After 6 months works in industry, he joined Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) as a lecturer on 28th December 2010. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Perlis Malaysia, on 23rd December 2016. Currently, he is serving Universiti Malaysia Perlis as Associate Professor at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Technology after being promoted on 1st April 2020.
