Hello! I hold full-time Post-Graduate qualifications, including a D.Ed., B.Ed., and M.Ed. in Special Education. With Over 15 years of experience as a Special Educator, I have had the privilege of working in various settings such as inclusive school, Special school and therapy-center. I have taught children from pre-primary to Grade 5 who experience Learning Disability, Autism, ADHD and Intellectual Impairment. I am a strong advocate for Early intervention as it significantly enhances the educational prognosis of the children. I firmly believe in looking beyond labels to understand each child's unique needs and strengths, enabling them to reach their full potential.
I utilize different instructional strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of my learners. My remedial sessions are conducted one-on-one or in small groups of 2-3 students to effectively address learning gaps. These sessions focus on enhancing reading and spelling skills through Jolly Phonics, as well as improving comprehension, language abilities, memory, auditory and visual processing skills, perceptual skills and gross and fine motor skills. Additionally, I collaborate closely with parents to further support and accelerate their child's progress.
