My name is Shirin. Learning English has always been a great interest of mine, and that is the reason that I studied English at University. I believe that learning English is important for traveling, business, education, and many other purposes.
Aside from language learning, I have several other interests. I am passionate about rock music, classical movies, reading novels, and photography. I pursued photography professionally a few years ago, but I now prefer to focus on my main profession of teaching English.

To talk about my English background, I started learning English at the age of 12, encouraged by my father, who found it to be very useful. After completing high school, I decided to pursue English literature as my major since I was passionate about poetry, prose, and drama, especially the works of Shakespeare and Samuel Beckett. After earning my bachelor's degree, I shifted my focus to teaching English as a foreign language and obtained a master's degree in the same field. I have been teaching English for seven years now, and my methodology involves using a variety of sourcebooks, movies, songs, and writing sessions. During our sessions, we will read books, watch movies, listen to music, and discuss a wide range of interesting topics.

In this course, we will work on your General English and teach and review all the Top Notch and Summit book series. The idea that makes this course special is that it is video-based in addition to introduce the book itself. Moreover, we will have multiple supplementary videos to work on and expand the vocabulary by working on Oxford word skills and using them in everyday English. In this way learning English will be much more interesting and engaging. The duration of the course totally depends on your level and speed of learning and each 60 min session is 10 dollars. (two students: each 5 dollars)
