Hi there! My name is Sampath Madusanka, and I’m an Accounting and Finance Lecturer. I’m so excited to meet you today. I’ve been teaching Accounting and Finance for the past few years now. When I was in college and through the CA Programme, my major was communications. And I am an expert of building the accounting & finance skill s from zero level to get the A passes and as a Chartered Accountant I have the vast bucket of experience in 15 years in Manufacturing, Services, IT, Retail & etc.. which enable me to give the knowledge and sharing the practical application with you.
It was a lot of fun, but it also made me realize that teaching is what I wanted to do with my life. Since then, I have been enjoying teaching students and learning more about myself, my students, and the world around them, becoming a better communicator and I am developing my passion for writing, and sharing that knowledge with others as well.

     Financial Strategy: Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the business objectives and drive growth of each SBU’s.
     Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Leading the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to provide insights for decision-making. Analyze business operations, trends, Costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to projects future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
     Cost Management: Overseeing cost control and cost reduction initiatives to optimize projects operations.
     Financial Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements with application of full IFRS pack.
     Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards in the IT industry in SL, Singapore & B’desh.
     Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange, interest rate, and market risks.
     Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively to support the working capital requirements of the manufacturing business.
     Team Leadership: Lead and develop a finance team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance and growth.
     Audit Coordination: Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
     Strategic Financial Projects: Participate in strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and other projects that impact the financial health of the manufacturing business.
