I used all sorts of teaching styles when I taught. Some methods I made up myself. If I had to I even stood on my head to get lessons across to a student. It doesn't matter which style I preferred. The only thing that matters is WHICH STYLE HELPED A PARTICULAR CHILD! Education is too often set up for the convenience of adults. EDUCATION IS ABOUT LEARNING. Learning is accomplished by students, not teachers. THE POINT OF EDUCATION IS THE STUDENT, not which teaching style is more enjoyable for a teacher.
