I am a BSMS graduate fro Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune(IISER Pune). I have a specialisation in Physics. In IISER, I volunteered in student-run teaching programs (Science Nurture Program), where I was a volunteer for two years and a coordinator for one year. I have teaching experience of multiple years. In SNP DISHA our main goal was to nurture the scientific temper in kids of 9th and 10th standard. We had different methods such as hands on experiments, activities, discussions and specially designed sessions. I have also volunteered in Siksha Sambal Program VBERC where I volunteered for 1 month. It is an NGO which also helps underprivileged kids. Other Than these I have toutered students in my neighbourhood for several moths.
In IISER pune I am currently a research assistance. In my master's I have dome my MS thesis project IN Aix Marseille Universite, France. I am doing research on single protein molecules using Atomic Force Microscopy technique.

  • Teacher (Jun, 2023–Jul, 2023) at Siksha sambal program, Vidya Bhawan Education Research Centre, Udaipur
    Shiksha Sambal Project (SSP) is a flagship program of Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) which tries to address the issue of providing quality education to underprivileged rural children at the senior school level. Vidya Bhawan Education Resource Centre (VBERC) came on board as a technical partner in SSP in 2016. Since then, it has become a unique partnership between a corporate agency (HZL), a non-government entity (VBERC), and the Rajasthan government. Located in 66 Government Secondary and Senior Secondary schools in 5 districts (Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara and Ajmer) of Rajasthan, SSP now engages with more than 9000 students, 190 teachers, 82 Field Personnel and over 20 resource persons from VBS in strengthening the quality of education.
    The program offers a range of activities, including learning camps, classroom teaching, learning materials, library and lab access, student assessments, and career counselling sessions. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, SSP has successfully shifted to online classes, open book tests, and regular home visits to ensure continued learning for the students. With a student-centred approach, SSP has been instrumental in enhancing learning opportunities, improving outcomes, and increasing access to further educational opportunities for students.
  • Coordinator (Aug, 2020–Aug, 2021) at Scince Nurture Program (DISHA), IISER Pune
    Science Nurture Programme aims to popularise Science among students of 9th and 10th standard in as attractive a way as possible. With the help of well-designed sessions and hands-on activities, we hope to take students beyond science as a subject and embrace it as a way of thinking.
  • Volunteer (Jan, 2020–Jan, 2020) at Spread the Smile Disha
    DISHA’s volunteers take to villages around Pune, once a year to remind themselves of this challenge. We reach out to village schools and stay over for a weekend to perform experiments and interact with the students. The volunteers get a taste of village life and the students get to see science practised through the eyes of the volunteers.
  • Volunteer (Aug, 2019–Nov, 2019) at Abhyasika DISHA
    Abhyasika is DISHA’s original initiative and still remains one of our most challenging programmes. Every day Abhyasika volunteers try to bridge the gap between the children of Lamanvasti and the world outside. On the floor of a battered community centre, the students huddle around our volunteers and we teach them math, sciences and anything they want to learn about under the sun. We are striving to get a permanent place in the Vasti for future, to be able to work more effectively. Since the pandemic began, we are conducting classes either online or via phone calls for some of the older students in the vasti.
