As a teacher, my goal is to help students to understand the basic concepts needed for every subject and to develop the skill to apply their understanding to different problems and challenges.
In learning Accounting, you need to understand the 'why' behind the procedures in order to be able to complete the calculations and present the statements accurately. When I teach I want to make sure that my students have a strong foundation before moving on to a more advanced topics.
The same with Business Studies and Economics, I help students to understand the basic concepts and also the business environments since some students are not familiar with issues in the business and economic world.
I encourage students to be updated with the news of the world so they will be able to have a richer database of real life case studies that can deepen the content of their writings.
Lastly, my aim in tutoring students is to help them to have learning that last. Often times students forgot everything that they have learned after a class or a session. By expounding on the concept and develop the skills to apply the understanding, students will grow confidently in their learning.
