I'm entering about 10 years into teaching with experience in both local and international schools. My teaching style usually is catered to suit the learners that I have, and I thrive at making great connections with each and every one of them.

There is no 'one size fits all' in terms of teaching, so I am constantly learning and finding new ways to inspire learners to understand and grasp a new concept.

As I've been teaching learners off all ages from numerous backgrounds and different foundation, I know for a fact that every one is capable of learning, and that with the right teaching style and enough time - I am sure I am able to make a positive impact in a learner's journey to success.

Experience

  • Teaching Assistant / Technology Coach (Aug, 2017–Present) at Nexus International School Malaysia, Putrajaya
    - Teach either whole class or focused groups for Maths, Language Arts, Guided Reading, and IPC related topics.

    - With focused groups - this allow to have more of a one-to-one approach to help them bridge the gap.

    - Lead school in Primary ICT - teaching learners how to code, set up websites, create presentation slides, posters and more.

    - Plan and assist with learning that is both hands on and fun - in order for learners to understand a concept.
  • Class Teacher / English Subject Teacher (May, 2015–Aug, 2017) at Real Kids Plus SS19
    - English Teacher for the whole school - worked with children ages 4-6, and assisted them with their English Programme (Jolly Phonics and Cambridge English).

    - Was apart of their reading program, and assisted in their day-to-day reading log.

    - Was a English Medium class teacher for 6 year olds. Taught all the core English-medium subjects such as Maths, Phonics, Cambridge English, Science and even doing Art.
