As Arabic is mother tongue, but I love this language cause it's more rich in vocabularies or figures of speech rather any other language, my methodology is simply the more you speak & chat & engage in contact with people the more you gain knowledge quickly. This is better than academic books. Grammar isn't the main starting step ( it comes with practice)
