Hello there! Call me Ms. Z! I'm from Savannah, GA, USA and I've been teaching ESL since 2011. Currently I live in Tirana and I am loving this city! I enjoy dancing, painting, and reading in my spare time. I look forward to traveling through Albania and discovering it's many hidden treasures. I mostly enjoy teaching kindergarten age children, however I do hold conversationalsational lessons with adults. My methodology is the Direct Approach or Immersion, my passion for teaching through the arts and crreativity makes me a popular choice with kids! Usually within a year of teaching, my students are able to express themselves in the English language with very little difficulty for their level. What I'm most successful with is breaking down the mental barriers that students come to me with. Often they have a fear of speaking English because their school teachers focus more on grammar than simple conversation. This often causes students to fear speaking because they're afraid they'll make mistakes. Language learning is all about making mistakes, and learning from them. That's how we grow in our skills of the language! I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you!
