The themes of traditional karate training are fighting and self-defense, though its mental and moral aspects target the overall improvement of the individual.the development of an individual's physical, mental, and moral aspects. It aims to improve an individual's total health and well-being.Karate uses no weapons except the body. Its name comes from the Japanese kara (empty) and te (hand). Adding do (way) makes the word karate-do, which refers to a broader attitude or way of life. Both the martial art and the accompanying philosophy emphasize focus.Beyond being a form of physical exercise and self-defense, a large part of karate training evolved around character development and Japanese cultural values (such as respect, courtesy, loyalty, self-discipline, humility and the development of self-confidence without ego)the benefits into four parts that I experienced. They are self-confidence, discipline, physical and mental strength, and self-defense. A boost in self-confidence is one of the most recognized benefits of karate
