My Name is Amal Fawzy, I am native speaker, I was born and raised
in Egypt and graduated from the faculty of Mass communication-Cairo University, I have been working as A journalist since 1991.
I have a certificate of Teaching Arabic as a foreign language from the American University in Cairo and I have 10 years of professional teaching Arabic, 6 years of these experiences were in United States since I have worked Lecturer in Arabic at the University of California in Davis.
My work in one of the most important journalism foundations in Egypt added to me very valuable experiences- not only the Media experience but the linguistic experience too by writing and creating articles. Writing in Arabic helped me a lot in my Teaching career and added new, various and different ideas to my technique. In addition, Journalism helps me to learn how to create texts and how to use words, vocabulary and sentences with maintaining the rules of Grammar.
My work as an independent filmmaker
(Documentaries) helps me to enhance my audio Visual skills, which are so important for teaching too. My point of view is that Teaching is sort of Art, because it depends how to transmit the material, whatever it is into the minds and hearts of the students. Teaching is an art of communication between the teacher and the students
I believe that the variety of methods of teaching will lead to the main target of the Educational Process, It is strong learning through fun and flexibility.
I depend on the logical following up methodology to explain the rules of Arabic Language in a simple way and how to apply it Simply, I am
focusing as much as I can on analyzing the rules.
of grammar not forcing the student to know the rules by heart without
understanding.
I believe if the teacher is academically qualified and strong but misses will lose a big part of his the motivational and inspirational spirit, he/she
promising results with the students
So, I hope my additional experience as a life coach and motivational trainer also helps me to create a positive, ready mindset to receive the .Language. This applies to my teaching different ages
