Merely being knowledgeable isn’t enough to become a mentor rather its a combination of a few things like flexible attitudes, adaptability, learning from your students, bridging the gap, updating your knowledge and expertise, evolving, understanding the goals and setting up realistic goals while keeping strength and weaknesses of your pupils and the list goes on. As students you might have experienced that learning becomes easy and fun when done with peers. What’s the reason behind that??? Your peers and you are on SAME LEVEL which leads to good understanding and that’s what a teacher must aim to do.
