I’m Suman, a passionate chess player with over 20 years of experience in this incredible game. I hold a FIDE rating of 1675 and have been honored to win the Bangalore District Championship six times. Over the years, I’ve represented my state in various prestigious tournaments and participated in numerous FIDE-rated events. Chess has been a part of my life since I was 6 years old, and my love for the game has only grown stronger.

Now, I dedicate my time to teaching this fascinating game to beginners and intermediate players. My goal is to help students improve their skills while nurturing their interest in chess. Each session is structured to maximize learning: I spend 30-40 minutes teaching one topic, followed by 20-30 minutes of gameplay to understand and track the student’s progress. Depending on the student’s level of interest, we explore worksheets, game discussions, and practical exercises to deepen their understanding.
