As a professional ESL teacher. I had more than 5 years teaching experience as a class room teacher.
Teaching Style.
Firstly, introduction,
Hello Wilson!
How are you? Hope you had a great day?
Then I allowed them to express themselves by telling me the experience the had.
I asked them questions and make sure there is no doll movement among then. So, we can continue with the topic of the day.
There was a time, I had some pupils that could not express themselves due to oral/ written communication. I spare out time after class to guide them till they they achieve their goals.
I always give my students time to express themselves and make sure,before any class, we will preview on the previous lesson as an highlights. Just to refresh their memory .
Finally, assignment or homework is given after a successful class exercise.
In general term I love meeting people and adding values when necessary.
